Joy Isn’t Worked Up – From Below. It’s Poured Out – From Above.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me” (John 14:1).
What is Jesus saying to us? Is He saying, “Cheer up.” No! He’s saying, “Be lifted up.” Our joy doesn’t come to us from deep down within ourselves. It comes to us from above, from the Lord.
