Forgiveness comes first …

When Isaiah was called to be a prophet of God, something else needed to happen first. He needed to have his own sins forgiven (Isaiah 6:7). First, there was the forgiveness of Isaiah's sins, and then, immediately after that, there was his call to the prophetic ministry (Isaiah 6:8).
