Praying Through God's Word

“… Galilee of the Gentiles — 16 the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” (Matthew 4:15-16).

God’s plan of salvation is reaching out beyond the nation of Israel. He’s looking out to the other nations – the Gentiles. His light will shine upon all the nations: “And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation” (Revelation 5:9).
