“He placed a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see this and worship. They will trust the Lord. 4 Blessed is the person who places his confidence in the Lord … ” (Psalm 40:3-4).
Our worship brings joy to the heart of the Lord – and it, also, brings blessing to others. May God help us to lift up our hearts and voices to him: “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name” (Psalm 103:1). As we bless the Lord, we, ourselves, will blessed by the Lord. He says to us: “The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace” (Numbers 6:24-26).
As we are blessed by the Lord, others will, also, be blessed. They “will trust the Lord.” They, too, will hear the words, “The Lord bless you and keep you … .”
