When the Lord says to us, “Return”, what will we say to him?

“Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love” (Joel 2:13).

The Lord is speaking through his faithful prophet.

He was speaking to the people – a long, long time ago.

He’s speaking to the people – in today’s world.

He’ll keep on speaking to the people – in tomorrow’s world.

What is the Lord saying to us?

He’s calling us to return to him.

Will we listen to what the Lord is saying to us?

Will we return to him?

To each one of us, the question is asked.

From each one of us, the answer must be given.

When the Lord says to us, “Return”, what will we say to him?

Return to the Lord – He is “gracious and compassionate.”

Return to the Lord – He is “slow to anger and abounding in love.”
