“The glory of the Lord settled down on Mount Sinai” (Exodus 24:26). “The glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle” (Exodus 40:34-35).
From the revelation of God’s glory in the Old Testament, we move on to the revelation of God’s glory in Jesus Christ: “God, who said, let there be light in the darkness, has made this light shine in our hearts so that we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6).
From the revelation of God’s glory in Jesus Christ, we move on to the revelation of God’s glory in God’s heavenly Kingdom: “So he took me in the Spirit to a great high mountain, and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God… ” (Revelation 21:10-11).
In the Old Testament, in Jesus Christ, in our hearts, in God’s heavenly KIngdom, the glory of God is revealed.
