“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand” (Psalm 16:11).
This verse means a lot to me. It was given to me at the time when I set out on a life of ministry. It tells us that the Lord guides us in our journey through life. It tells us more than that. It tells us that he’s leading on to the eternal pleasures at his right hand. This is so much more than receiving help from the Lord as we travel along the path of life. This is something about which we can only echo the words of the Apostle Paul: “‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’ – the things God has prepared for those who love him – 10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10)..
