A Spiritual Journey (8): 2 Samuel 11 / Psalm 51

This is the eighth post in a series of ten posts.

David is shown his sin. David confesses hi sin. We can learn so much from David’s prayer: “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you” (Psalm 51:10-13). Here, we have the sinner’s prayer. He prays for salvation. Here, we see the sinner becoming the witness. Jesus, our Saviour, was crucified for us, and he was raised again for us. When we bring our prayer to him, he hears us and he answers our prayer.
