Our call to holiness is grounded in God’s work of redemption (Travelling Through God’s Word: Leviticus, Part Four).

Leviticus,

“For I am the Lord your God; consecrate, yourselves, therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. I brought you up out of Egypt, to be your God; you shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.”

Here, we have the call to live a holy life. Again, we are reminded of God’s mighty work of redemption. This reminds us that holiness is grounded in thanksgiving, We think what the Lord has done for us. He died for us, He rose from the dead for us, We say, “Thank you, Lord”, and we say, “Make us the kind of people you want us to be. Make us more like you Make us more loving. Make us more holy.”
