Responding to God’s Word (20): To God be the glory!

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness, you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago (Isaiah 25:1).

See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create (Isaiah 65:17).

God’s Word speaks to us about the past, this is what the Lord has done for us; and it speaks to us about the future, this is what the Lord will do for us.We look back to “long ago”, and we are encouraged to go with the Lord. We look forward to “forever”, and, again, we are encouraged to keep on go on with the Lord, trusting him, praising him and following him.
