Everything changes when we begin to see things the way God sees them.

“The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast” (1 Peter 5:10).

Does our life on earth, sometimes, feel like a maze? We’re stuck in the middle. We’ve lost our way. We can’t seem to find the right pathway.

Is there something that we have forgotten? God hasn’t lost patience with us. He still loves us. He’s “the God of all grace.” He’s the God who has “called us to his eternal glory in Christ.”

Everything becomes clearer when we remember that God is with us in our times of suffering. Sometimes, we can see nothing but our hard times. God sees beyond our hard times. When we’re learning to see things the way God sees them, everything changes. We read the words, “He will restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast”, and the light of the Lord’s love begins to shine brightly in our minds and hearts.
