Do we need more than a human explanation?

“These people are not drunk, as you suppose… God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people” (Acts 2:15,17). There are many people who are always looking for a human explanation. It never seems to occur that there may be something more than a human explanation. It may be that God is working powerfully through his chosen servants When strange things are happening, some people look for a psychological explanation. They say, “It’s all in the mind. It’s just the mind playing tricks on us.” What about the explanation, given to us by Peter: it’s the outpouring of the Spirit? Move forward from the Day of Pentecost. Move forward to today’s world. The outpouring of the Spirit – this is what we, still, need today.
