Yesterday and today and for ever

Can we dismiss “the old, old story of Jesus and his love”, just because it comes to us from such a long time ago? or Does Jesus bring to us something that we should always remember? There’s something about Jesus that we should never forget: “Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead” (2 Timothy 2:8). Raised from the dead: this is what makes Jesus different. Raised from the dead: this is why the Word of the Lord tells us that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8).
