When the going gets tough, may God help us to keep on praying.

Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever (Daniel 12:3).

Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before (Daniel 6:10).

Who is “wise”? Who will “lead many to righteousness”? Let’s look at Daniel. He was wise. He led many to righteousness. What can we learn from Daniel? Here’s one thing we can learn from Daniel: he was a man of prayer. Daniel received wisdom from God. He received power from God. When the going gets tough, may God help us to keep on praying, Let the prayers go up from earth to heaven, and may the blessings come down from heaven to earth.
